Travora Hub

A Mobile Booking App in Your Agency's Name, for Android and iPhone

Your customers install your app, not a big booking brand's. Same live prices, same checkout, same vouchers as your website, with your logo on their home screen.

Ask any agency owner where their customers book and the answer is the same: on a phone. They search on a phone, they message you on a phone, and they pay on a phone. The big booking brands know this, which is why they push everyone into their apps. Once their icon is on a customer's home screen, the next trip starts there, not with you.

An app in your own name puts you on that home screen instead. It is not about having an app for the sake of it. It is about being one tap away when a repeat customer starts planning next year's Umrah or the family summer holiday, instead of being a website they have to remember and search for again.

This page explains what the Travora Hub app does, how Android and iPhone differ, what it costs to publish in the stores and when an app is worth it for your agency.

Key features

  • Your Name on Their Home Screen

The app carries your agency's name and icon. Customers open it like any other app and land on your search page, ready to book.

  • Everything Your Website Sells

Hotels, flights, tours, Hajj and Umrah packages and your deals, at the same live prices and with your markup already inside.

  • Always Up to Date

The app runs on your live booking site, so new packages, prices and blog posts appear in it straight away. No new version to publish for every change.

  • The Same Secure Checkout

Card payments with 3D Secure, Safepay, MyFatoorah or pay at office, exactly as on your website. Bank verification pages open inside the app.

  • WhatsApp and Maps Open Properly

Tapping your WhatsApp button opens WhatsApp, and hotel locations open in the phone's maps app, instead of a broken page inside the app.

  • Vouchers Saved to the Phone

Booking vouchers save to the phone's Downloads, so a pilgrim at the hotel desk in Makkah can show it without searching their email.

How the Android app works

We build the Android app from your live booking website and sign it with a permanent key, so every future update installs over the old one. It carries your agency name and app icon, made from your logo.

You upload the app file once in your dashboard (Branding, then Android App). From then on your site serves it at youragency.com/app.apk, and visitors on Android phones see a small "Download our Android app" banner. Inside the app the banner never shows, so people are not asked twice.

If you would rather be in the Google Play Store as well, you can publish the same app under your own Google Play developer account, which Google charges a one-time $25 to open. Many agencies start with the direct download from their own site and add Play Store later.

iPhone and iPad: how the iOS app is published

Apple only allows apps to be installed from the App Store, so there is no direct download for iPhone. Apple also expects a branded app like this to be published by the business whose name is on it, which means it goes out under your agency's own Apple Developer account. Apple charges $99 a year for that account.

We build the iOS version on request and help you through the App Store submission. Apple reviews every app before it goes live, usually within a few days, and may ask questions about how the app works. Plan for that time if you want the app ready before a season such as Ramadan or the summer holidays.

Until your iOS app is live, iPhone customers can still add your website to their home screen from Safari, and it opens full screen like an app.

Does a travel agency really need an app?

Not every agency does, and we would rather say that plainly. If most of your customers book once and never come back, your website and WhatsApp are enough. An app earns its place when customers return: Umrah families who travel every year, corporate clients who book every month, and sub-agents who search all day.

For those customers, the app removes the steps between wanting to book and booking. No searching for your website, no typing the address, no landing on a competitor's ad first. It also looks established. A customer who sees your app on the store or on their phone trusts that you are a real business, which matters in a market where people pay in advance.

The cost argument has also changed. A custom-built travel booking app usually costs tens of thousands of dollars and a developer to keep it working. Because the Travora Hub app is built from your booking website, it does not need its own booking system, its own supplier connections or its own maintenance contract.

App, website and WhatsApp work together

Your website is how new customers find you on Google and in AI answers. WhatsApp is where they ask questions. The app is where returning customers come back. All three show the same live prices and the same bookings, so nothing has to be copied between them.

With the Travora Hub CRM, a WhatsApp enquiry can be answered with live hotel or Umrah prices as cards. Each card opens that exact option on your site, ready to book. Every booking lands in the same dashboard, whether it came from the website, the app or a chat.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can my travel agency have its own booking app?

Yes. On Travora Hub the Android app is built from your live booking website, carries your agency name and icon, and sells everything your site sells at the same prices. An iPhone version is built on request and published under your own Apple Developer account.

Do I need a developer to make a travel app?

No. The Travora Hub team builds the app from your existing booking site. You upload the Android file in your dashboard once, and your site starts offering it to Android visitors.

Is there an iPhone (iOS) app as well as Android?

Yes, on request. Apple requires a branded app to be published by the business it belongs to, so the iOS app goes on the App Store under your agency's own Apple Developer account, which costs $99 a year. We build it and help with the submission.

How do customers download the Android app?

From your own website at youragency.com/app.apk. Android visitors see a "Download our Android app" banner. You can also publish the app on Google Play under your own developer account.

Do I have to update the app when I change prices or packages?

No. The app runs on your live booking site, so new packages, prices, deals and blog posts appear in it immediately. A new app version is only needed for changes to the app itself, such as a new icon.

Can customers pay inside the app?

Yes. Checkout is the same as on your website, with cards through Stripe and 3D Secure, Safepay in Pakistan, MyFatoorah in the Gulf or pay at your office, depending on what you have switched on.

Is the app in Arabic and Urdu too?

Yes. The app shows your site in every language you offer, including Arabic and Urdu laid out right to left.

How much does a custom travel booking app cost?

A travel booking app built from scratch usually costs tens of thousands of dollars, plus supplier integrations and ongoing maintenance. Because the Travora Hub app is built from your booking website, it shares the same booking system and needs no separate maintenance.
